I am often surprised at the things we are asked to ship abroad. I was even more surprised to be asked by two different clients to ship sleds for them.

As you all know, we like a challenge and the packing up of the sleds and their freighting was pretty straightforward and the processes were similar. Their destinations could not have been further apart, however.

The first was shipped out to Canada. From there it was going to be used in an expedition to the North Pole.

The second sled was sent to Sydney, Australia. Its eventual destination was as part of an exploration in Antarctica. Like I said, literally poles apart!
